Program Outline: Domestic violence is a problem in minority communities due to the strain of relationships. Women often find themselves in a culture of victimization and possibly afraid to leave an abusive relationship out of fear or guilt. A local Boston women’s center will help to address these issues as well as how to possibly recognize an abusive situation and the steps to recovery from one.
